Most women don’t arrive here certain. They arrive curious. Maybe a little nervous. Maybe carrying something they haven’t said out loud yet — to a partner, to a friend, to themselves.
That’s the right place to start from.
What happens next isn’t a performance. It’s not a transformation. It’s a few hours where you get to be photographed the way you actually look — which, for most women, is the first time anyone’s done that.
A session here is slower than you’d expect.
Twenty-five years of doing this work has taught me one thing more than anything else: the best images don’t come from chasing them. They come from waiting for them. From letting you settle into the studio, into the lighting, into your own body, until the camera catches something true.
The session is built around that. There’s no rush. No quota of shots. No checklist I’m working through in my head. We move when it’s time to move, and we stay when it’s worth staying.
How it goes
Before — A short consultation call, a week or two before the session, to talk through what you’re hoping for, what you’re nervous about, and what you want to bring. By the time you arrive at the studio, we’ve already met.
The session — Around four hours at the studio. Ninety minutes of that is hair and makeup. The rest is shooting — usually three to five different looks, moving between the studio’s setups based on what’s working that day. Coffee, tea, wine, champagne, water — whatever fits the day. Music planned ahead, based on what you said you wanted to hear. Sometimes, if one of the images jumps off the screen at me during the shoot, I’ll send you home with a print of it that same day.
A few weeks later — The reveal. You come back to the studio, see the images on a screen for the first time, and choose which collection makes sense for what you want to take home. This is when the album gets specced, the wall pieces get chosen, the digital files get selected.
A few months after that — The album arrives. The wall art arrives. The work is done, and the experience becomes a thing you live with rather than a thing you went through.
What's included
Every session includes:
— A pre-session consultation, by phone or video

— Up to five looks, with guidance on what works in the light I’m using
— Hair and makeup on-site, ninety minutes, by a professional who’s done this hundreds of times
— A private dressing area
— Coffee, tea, wine, champagne, water — whatever fits the day
— Music planned ahead, based on what you said you wanted
— A reveal appointment a few weeks later, with 25 to 50 finished images to choose from
— All retouching done by me, in my own studio. Not outsourced.
What you take home — albums, wall art, digital files — is laid out on the Investment page.
If any of this sounded like you, the next step is a short conversation. Not a sales call. Just a chance to talk through what you’re thinking and figure out whether this is the right fit for what you’re looking for.
